Specs & FAQ

On this page, find out how our smart guitar works, what's built-in, and what makes it different.

Feature Overview

What does "smart guitar" actually mean?

We think a smart guitar should be.. well... smart. Smart guitars should anticipate the players needs. So we asked: what if your guitar could keep you in tune, keep you in time, loop your ideas back to you, and carry your entire set list - without a single extra piece of gear? That’s what we built. A full technology stack from hardware to software to cloud AI and beyond, designed to let players play, practice and record anywhere.

What happens when inspiration strikes?

Usually, you lose it. You either scramble to balance your phone on something to open voice memo OR you boot up the laptop, open the DAW, connect the interface, setup the mic that got knocked over, connect the pedalboard to power... By the time you're ready, the riff is a distant memory.

We built our guitar so that never happens again. Just tap record. Or start a looper to capture it. Layer parts on top. Switch effects with a touch. Your studio is in your hands. And when you're ready to take it further, export that demo into a board at a pro studio. The raw moment was forever captured and stored. The idea lives on.

How do I get the most out of it?

Use it as your practice machine. The tuner and metronome setup your practice foundations. The metronome syncs with the looper, so you can lay down a rhythm track and play lead over it and practice your licks. We built it to supercharge your guitar practice and enable your growth on the guitar.

What does cloud connectivity mean?

We push new effects, bug fixes, and features over the air. You don't have to do anything. The guitar you buy today will keep getting better over time.

Who is this for?

The Players. Players shouldn't need five pedals, a power supply, and a spaghetti pile of cables just to get a decent tone before sending it into their amps. The players want an on-the-go recording studio in their guitars for ideas and inspiration. This guitar is for the players.

How does it compare to traditional pedals?

We love analog pedals. The circuits, the character, the tone, all of it. They're just heavy. Because of that, we sought to build a full suite of digital effects into our guitars that match the special quality of analog. Bringing convenience and quality sound & tone right to your door, with less gear on the floor.

When will it be available?

We're building in Brooklyn, New York and preparing for a limited first run. Reserve your spot and be the first to hear when it launches.
